System Updates to Emission Factors and Supporting Documents for GHG Reporting in accordance with the TGO Announcement, Dated 15 June 2026.

Carbonwize would like to inform customers of the latest updates to Emission Factors (EF) under GWP AR5 and AR6 in Carbonwize platform on 15 June 2026 following the latest update on 4 March 2026.

Carbonwize platform update new Emission Factors on 15 June 2026
To ensure the Emission Factor data within the system is accurate, complete and more closely aligned with the reference data from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO.

Changes effective from 15 June 2026 include:

  1. This update will add more comprehensive Emission Factor entries to the Emission Factor (EF) database. Including refining the details and names of the Emission Factors to align with the reference data from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO).

  2. Updated the Emission Factor database, removing the obsolete or inconsistent entries from current reference data to ensure the information is accurate, appropriate, and up-to-date, such as B5 and B10 fuels which are no longer in use.

This change will affect the corporate Greenhouse Gas Emission, Removal Reporting documents and Emission Factors used before 15 June 2026.

Notes:

  • This update will not affect any data that has already been verified prior to 14 June 2026.

  • For companies undergoing verification from 15 June 2026 onwards, the system will automatically apply the latest Emission Factors in accordance with current TGO requirements.
